Yep, signed the employment contract for my new job yesterday (dragged myself there even though I was on MC for two days). The employment terms were fairly standard so it didn’t matter that I was slightly wozzy when the HR person was explaining them to me.

I haven’t tendered my resignation though, can only do so on 1 April if I were to qualify for the performance bonus for work done in 2007. Figured that since I did slave quite a bit last year, no way am I gonna give up on my bonus. Heh.

So the question is – if I get to clear my leave (crossing my fingers!), where can I go for a short break with my mum before I start work? I wanna go someplace for about 5 days, where I can relax (read – massages and spas), see some sights (my mum’s requirement!) and of course, shop.

Have sort of shortlisted either ChiangMai/Bangkok or Taipei. Act’y HK’s not too bad too, but heard that shopping’s not that fantastic anymore (although ursweetlullaby would disagree!). What do you all think? Any suggestions?
